Simply put, “Pantheon” means “dedication”. It is a round, granite building and even after two thousand years, it is still the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome. It is considered as the standard template from which other classical styles were revived.
We could not come up with a better name that reflects the purpose of this dyed collection. Pantheon is a medium weight cotton canvas (#10 duck) that is available in an array of colors. The dyed fabric weighs about 14 oz/sq yard and has 2-plied yarns in the warp & the fill directions of the fabric. The fabric makes a bold statement when it comes to performance.
We listened to you! Just like you, most of our customers prefer a fabric that can hold its shape and color on an occasional wash or two. Our Pantheon fabric collection is dyed with high quality reactive dyes that have very good colorfastness to washing. The dyes and chemicals used in production complies with product safety standards such as REACH, CPSIA, AAFA, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, etc.
As with the original name, we hope that our Pantheon #10 duck collection will serve as a template on which you can build various classic products – tote bags, messenger bags, pouches, etc.
